A worked example of a labelled sponsored placement

This entry exists to demonstrate how paid placement appears on the page — visibly labelled, visually distinct, and never in the lead slot.

Sponsored· Example Studio (placeholder)

This is a placeholder sponsored entry. It carries a visible Sponsored label, a named sponsor, a distinct container, and it is excluded from the lead slot and from any “best of” selection — all enforced in code rather than left to habit.

What a sponsor can buy here is placement and attention. What a sponsor cannot buy is a conclusion: no praise, no score, no favourable comparison, and no removal of a criticism. If a piece cannot be written honestly, the money goes back.

Editorial coverage of small developers continues independently of this, remains free, and always will. See EDITORIAL_POLICY.md § 9 for the full rules.

Sample entry — placeholder content for the Phase 0 shell. No real sponsorship exists and no money has changed hands.
