Advertising & Affiliate Links
Webitlio is an independent publication covering tech, AI, and games, written and edited by one person. Keeping it running costs money, and we're upfront about how it's covered.
Advertising. We run Google AdSense ads on some pages. These are standard, industry-wide ads โ we don't hand-pick what appears in them, and Google decides which ads are shown based on its own policies.
Affiliate links. When we mention a specific product, we sometimes link to it through the Amazon Associates program. If you buy something after clicking one of those links, we may earn a small commission โ you pay exactly the same price either way. This never affects which products we choose to write about, or what we say about them: our coverage decisions come first, the affiliate link is added afterward, never the other way around. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to the other site, whose own privacy practices then apply; see our Privacy Policy.
Editorial independence. Nobody pays us to write favorably about a product. If an article contains a sponsored placement, it's always labeled clearly as such at the top of the article โ affiliate links in a regular article are a different thing, and are disclosed the way this page describes.
