What we publish

Webitlio publishes original reporting and analysis. When we cover a story first reported elsewhere, we summarise it, say where it comes from and link to the original rather than republishing it.

Human review

Every article is reviewed by a person before it is published, and the reviewer is recorded with the article. Today that reviewer is Nicolae Panait, the editor of Webitlio. AI assistance is covered in the next section.

AI assistance

We disclose AI assistance wherever it was more than incidental. The disclosure appears in the note at the end of the article.

Advertising, affiliate links and sponsored content

We show advertising through Google AdSense, and some articles contain Amazon affiliate links. Articles with affiliate links say so. Sponsored content is labelled "Sponsored" and is never the lead story. Details are on our Advertising & Affiliate Links page.

Corrections

When we get something wrong in a way that matters, we correct it and add a dated note. Typos are fixed quietly.

Images

Images created with AI tools are credited “AI-generated Image”. Photographs and third-party images carry a credit to their source.
